Good Hair Day!

Had a really good hair day this week so I took a picture! Ha!  Tim has been cutting my hair here in Australia.  When it gets to my shoulders I can't stand it so I put it in a ponytail and he cuts an inch off.  I've been cutting his hair since 1980 when we met!

It's been a challenge to adjust to our new setup in the office.  I just about have things the way I need them.  Tim is a little behind since he was gone the whole time we were moving back into the office.

Not much excitement this week, just a lot of hard work. I'm having to scan 200 leases into the church's program, IMOS.  I finished the current 100 and thought I was finished but then saw that they also wanted the very first lease on all the flats!  That is taking a lot longer since they are on the bottom of the file.  Slow but steady wins the race, right?

When Richard was here, I showed him how our palm gets these stick looking things that open up into a frond.  Here is the "stick" starting to open in the middle of the palm.

This is day 2 and it's opened up quite a bit.

Day 4 it's going crazy!

Day 5, mostly open with stabilizers on the outside edge.

If you look really closely you can see what looks like a string holding all the leaves together on the edges.  These eventually fall off when the wind blows them around.  :D  I'm enjoying all the plants here!

Guess I needed to take more pictures this week!  Love to all!  Miss you.
