Working from Home and Setting Up Flats
We took a peek at our office today and we don't think it will be finished in a week as predicted. No worries, we like working from home.
This is our setup. We're a little cramped with all of the files and other office paraphernalia but it's so nice and quiet that I can concentrate and get a lot more work done. No distractions except for the refrigerator! 😜
Monday was Senior FHE and we had a huge crowd with new service senior missionaries attending. I'm always too tired to attend these but since I'm the pianist, I have to go. We have to take two dishes which we are always too tired to make so we bought a lasagna and a cake. Done.
We have a new "first" in the ABM (Australia Brisbane Mission)--bunk beds. We had a bishop offer us a great "granny flat" in his basement. the only problem was three beds didn't fit in either bedroom. There are three sisters moving into this flat and they all have to sleep in the same room. Solution? Bunk beds! We'd never think of putting elders in bunk beds but we think this will work for this space. The president likes to put a golden with two STLs for training purposes. (Sister Training Leaders=Zone Leaders)
This week we got an email from the Missionary Department in Salt Lake! They want us to find a flat for one of the new temple presidency counselors. They start their service in August, I think. Tim has been scouring the required area (within 10 minutes of the temple) all week and has found a beautiful place 3 blocks away. You can see the temple spire and Moroni from their deck! (in front of the tallest building.)

Transfers coming this week! Wish us luck. Love you all!!!
