Mission Tour with Elder & Sister Jaggi, Kimmies and Santa Eggs!

This week was full of going to the airport and having a senior couple stay with us.  Had to make a schedule just to keep it all straight! The northern zone seniors that were closer to Brisbane than Caines came south to be with us. The Jaggis were incredible and we had a spiritual feast.  The tour was three days and we had a mission zoom two days and the Jaggis in person one day.  When he spoke time just flew.  I usually have a hard time sitting for so long (9am to 4 pm) but I didn't want Elder Jaggi to stop speaking!  Loved it!  We met at the Karawatha Chapel and the Tongan ward there fed us lunch!  It was a feast complete with 5 roasted pigs!

We had the Gibsons, Malad, Idaho, stay with us.  We picked them up at the airport and trained them when they first arrived in Australia so we already knew them.  It was fun to get to know them better. They were here for 3 days and we took them to all our favorite places including Queen Street downtown.  It was decked out for Christmas.

The last day of the tour we handed out these nativities to EVERY missionary from our mission leaders. We helped make them which was quite an undertaking with all the sanding, gluing, and dressing them!  They were packaged in a cellophane bag with this filling and a Christmas message from our mission leaders.

Laura and Dave arrived at 5 am
this morning from America and we're super excited to have them here for our "green" Christmas down under!  Even the eggs have Santa hats!

Hope all of your holiday preparation are going well and that Christ is at the center of them all!  Love you!
