They're Growing Up!

My granddaughter turned 15 this week! That's a magical age to turn in the Hispanic culture. They throw a Quinceañera. Kayli is going to have her version of a Quinceañera in about 2 weeks. My son, Tyler, and his family are even going to fly in from Hawaii for the party and Thanksgiving. When you go on a mission you miss a lot of family milestones but we'll be with her in spirit. She's an outstanding, bright young woman. She helps me with all the temple baptisms we have for women. Her dad takes her before school to the temple and baptizes her. I am grateful for both of them! I love them.

Halloween was also this week. The stores were decked out with costumes and decorations although I'd heard it wasn't as big a deal here. Our apartment is in a locked complex so we didn't get any trick-or-treaters if they do that here. The Tyler Bonds went to a great ward party and were all decked out! Ceci was a purple witch and Naya was a pirate! Mama Brey was even a leopard complete with tail which Ceci is holding up!  The Chacones were decked out too at their ward party!  The girls were Stitch and Pink Stitch and Oli was his favorite soccer player, Messi.  Mama Kris was Elvis!

Hope you all had a good week.  Tim has continued the search for flats and I have been busy catching up all the paperwork!  We love you!  Thank you for your support and prayers. 💕
