An Eventful Week
Starting Week 5 of our 6 week cycle today. Week 5 isn't filled with a bunch of meetings for seniors like Weeks 3 & 4 so it's a chance to breathe and catch up. Of course, I'm on my own schedule and have had to limit how many meetings I go to. :D I finished my Housing Board/s and here they are. We have 5 districts so two smaller districts are on one of the boards. They are all listed by street name within their zone which is important to us as housing coordinators. I love the boards and so do all the other office people including the president. All the parts are magnetic so they can be moved easily as needed each transfer.
We were back to finding flats this week because we are getting 2 couples--1 for a year and one for 6 months. This presents a new problem since they're here for a short time. The first couple is already here and have been helping look for a flat. Thursday we got word that our application was accepted for a flat in Burpengary! Tomorrow, we are getting two missionaries off cycle that are visa-waiters. I was scrambling to get bedding bags made up for them. There's always so much going on all the time.
I never volunteer for anything because I have so much going on all of the time! One of the senior missionaries volunteered to put on a Book of Mormon activity for our ward. I got put in charge of advertising. Here's the flyer I made.
Our ward asked the senior missionary couples to teach about missionary work for the 5th Sunday lesson this month! I'm feeling pretty overwhelmed with all the extra stuff but thankfully, all I have to do is play the piano.
Went for a walk with another couple, the Wiedmeiers, tonight and saw 3 koalas and 4 Kookaburras! Our first Koalas in the wild!Well, hope you are all well and have a great week! Love you!
