Time's a Flyin'

This week marks our 6th month in the mission field!  Wow, that went fast.  We signed up for 18 months so that means 1/3 of our mission is over already.  More setting up apartments and ordering furniture and appliances this week--that means a LOT of travelling.  The 3 flats we're working on right now are all about 45 minutes away in  different directions.  One flat was on the east coast peninsula--very pretty there.  It's called Redcliff/

This is week 6/out of 6 so next week is transfers and we're receiving 24 new missionaries and 14 are going home!  We're all bracing ourselves for the intake.  I've been busy preparing bedding bags for all the newbies.  We have switched from providing a blanket to providing a comforter for them.  Sister Wiedmeier, the mission nurse, helps me with the bedding assignment--couldn't do it without her.💖 We put a pillow, pillow protector, a set of sheets, a mattress protector and a comforter in each bedding bag.  This they keep with them for their entire mission (in theory :D).  When they leave, they turn in their bag and if there is anything salvageable in there, we wash it and put it in the "gently-used" bin for emergencies.

Hope you are all well--we think of you all often.  Love to all!
