And Then It Starts Over!

We are now on Week 1 again!  We have 24 new missionaries arriving tomorrow! Each group we welcome means we are now more experienced.  I hope we can help them adjust through our trainings.  We've started incorporating more games and fun in the training instead of just training them in the chapel. We even ordered medals this time!  20 of them are coming internationally which means long flights. The Americans will have traveled about 16 hours.  I was so brain dead by the time we finally arrived it was hard to absorb everything that was happening.  Feeding them on Arrival Day is always a huge undertaking which Sister Patton does without a hitch.  We've only been here 1 week longer than the Pattons--they are over vehicles but their extra assignment is feeding the masses at all of our meetings!  Bedding is my extra assignment and I'll keep it, thank you very much!

This last week we accomplished the impossible.  We set up three brand new flats in 7 days!  That's a record and it was exhausting.  We didn't get the keys to the third one until Saturday and we needed it for Monday!  We called in the troops from that area--the senior couple, the Petersons, and some elders.  We were finished by noon!

They snuck this selfie on my phone when I wasn't looking!  I'm glad they did so I can remember them helping us.  They're getting split up this week to accommodate all the new missionaries.  I'm getting really good at ordering appliances and furniture.  We received 12 beds on Thursday--we're constantly running low on beds! We now have acquired 9/21 flats and President Vongsawad has put more flats on hold for a while so maybe we can catch our breath before Round 2!  :D

Tim's birthday was this week.  Our kids pooled their money to buy him an Australian hat.  He wanted one but would never buy one when we found a hat shop.

Sure miss and love all of you!
